Job Overview:

UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Endocrinologist/Diabetologist (MD or DO) to provide inpatient endocrinology care. This temporary role covers the late spring through summer months (June – September) and includes weekday shifts with no call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient endocrinology and diabetes care at a major academic medical center.
• Manage a patient load of 8-14 per day.
• Teach and mentor fellows in endocrinology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize hospital EMR for documentation.

Schedule & Workload:

• Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• No call, no weekends, and no procedures required.
• No DEA or CSR required for this role.
• No trauma experience needed.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an Endocrinology focus.
• Endocrinology Fellowship preferred.
• Must be eligible for credentialing at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
