Hospitalist Physician in Abilene, TX

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a part-time internal medicine (IM) trained physician to join our stable and established hospital medicine (HM) program at Hendrick Medical Center South in Abilene, Texas. Hendrick Medical Center is a 231-bed hospital with an open 20 bed ICU. 

Enjoy a block schedule of 7 days on each month with a staffing model: 3-day shift physicians, 1 day shift APC, and 1 nocturnist physician. Our daytime clinicians see an average census of 15-20 per day to include 2 admissions. Hospitalists do run codes and handle rapid response and are the primary admitters for the ICU, so you will also round on patients there as needed. Procedures are highly preferred but not required. The EMR utilized throughout the Hendrick System is All-Scripts.
