Job Description


The Oklahoma Heart Institute is hiring a Full-Time PA or ACNP to join our nationally recognized Cardiothoracic/Vascular program in beautiful Tulsa, OK. The position is open to Physician Assistants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners interested in a 4-10 Saturday-Tuesday schedule(with rotating holidays). In this role, you will be providing hospital coverage for at least your first 6 months as part of your training, with the potential for clinic coverage in the future. The ideal candidate can be a new grad, but experience is preferred: they must excel in a fast-paced, busy clinic, be efficient with charting, and be focused on patient care.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-Time Employment
  • Inpatient/Outpatient mixed setting
  • 10-Hour Shifts, Saturday-Tuesday, rotating holidays
  • No call coverage requirement (paid call coverage is available on an optional basis)
  • Patient Load: 12-18 in clinic; hospital varies on volume
  • Effective Charting: Epic EMR
