Telehealth Locums Family Medicine Physician Physicians Only

Seeking a remote prescribing Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to play a pivotal role in delivering accessible and convenient care for our members. The Physician must have recent experience treating patients for obesity management and prescribing up-to-date weight loss medications. This position supports remote monitoring of Chronic Heart Failure (CHF) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), as well as ensuring timely response to urgent clinical information such as critical lab values. Physicians will work one to two-hour shifts daily reviewing urgent escalations of remote monitoring and lab data flows.  Responsibilities include monitoring and reaching out to patients, managing medication management, and providing outpatient treatment via Telehealth as needed.

Compensation:  $90 per hour.

Requirements:

• Must be a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician from a US approved training program - Only
• Licensed in CO, MD, NC, NY & SC (Two or more of these states preferred)
• Experience treating patients for obesity management and prescribing up-to-date weight loss medications
  
• Credentialed with Highmark highly preferred
• Current DEA ability to obtain
• Ability to deliver care via telehealth.
• Proficiency with EMR (electronic medical record) systems.
