Neurosurgery NP/PA opportunity available in eastern TX

Great opportunity in eastern Texas for a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a hospital employed team. Located just 45 min east of Tyler and 1 hour west of Shreveport. 

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for Neurosurgery
• Experience in Surgery or Inpatient setting as NP/PA, Neurosurgery ideal but not required
• Monday-Friday - 7a-3:30p 
• Hospital rounding starts at 7a to round on post-op patients
• Clinic starts around 10a and ends around 3 or 3:30p typically
• No First Assist/OR duties
• May consult with patients presurvey
• 20 min appointments for patients - 30 min for new patients in clinic
• Majority of patients are post-op
• 16 patients per day is high end goal, will start off much slower
• 3 Neurosurgeons and 2 other APP's
