Are you ready to advance your career in leadership with TeamHealth's outstanding opportunity for a facility medical director at Abrazo Central Campus in Phoenix, Arizona, and Abrazo Scottsdale Campus in Scottsdale, Arizona. You'll be working a flexible block schedule with a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians. This position will provide care to patients in two hospitals. Ideal candidates are experienced and board certified (BC)/board eligible (BE) in internal medicine (IM) and critical care or BC/BE in IM and critical care/pulmonary medicine. Neuro experience and comfortability with standard ICU procedures is preferred. An Arizona license is required. We offer a competitive hourly rate.

- Helping to create a team culture that values high performance and excellent patient care
- Ensuring that the intensivists are engaged and their efforts are aligned with the quality, safety and efficiency goals of the hospital
The medical director, along with TeamHealth support staff, will strive to maintain a strong partnership between TeamHealth and the facilities, resulting in the highest quality of patient care. Other position highlights include but are not limited to:
- Managing the program to achieve clinical, operational and financial goals
- Strategic planning responsibilities such as physician communications, business development, manage care strategies, and more
- Participates in clinical oversight of the practice
- Works with the regional medical director and vice president of operations to adhere to the facility contractual requirements and operating budget and ensure client satisfaction
