Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding career in pediatric emergency medicine? TeamHealth has the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physician to join our team full-time to support our two dedicated pediatric emergency departments (ED) within the AdventHealth system in Orlando, Florida.

Opportunity Overview

Annual pediatric emergency patients: 25,000
Admit rate: 12-15%
16 ED beds
Physician coverage: 24 hours (8-hour shifts)
APC coverage
EMR: EPIC
Free Scribe coverage for physicians
All specialties are represented: 24/7 PEDS ICU and hospitalist
Teaching opportunities available EM, pediatric, and family practice residents assigned to shifts
Must be board certified EM with PEM fellowship or dual boarded EM and PEM
