Endocrinology Physician Opportunity - Outpatient

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Endocrinologist to join our dedicated outpatient team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population with endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Key Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Load: 14-17 patients per day
• On-Call: No
• Rounding: None
• EMR System: EPIC
• Privileges: Full, Temporary, and Emergency Available

Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified
• State License: Maryland (required)
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (required)
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years (willing to accept IMLC candidates)
• Skills Required:
• • Experience performing fine needle aspirations of the thyroid
  • Familiarity with EPIC (please specify experience years)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid conditions, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and goiter
• Manage patients with thyroid disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
• Complete prescription refills and inbox messaging for patients
• Collaborate with clinical staff to provide the highest level of care
