Locums Endocrinology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Endocrinology Physician to join an outpatient practice in Bel Air, MD. The ideal candidate should have training in general endocrinology, including the management of diabetes mellitus (Type 1 & Type 2), thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and goiter), and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Position Details:

This position is based in an outpatient practice setting, where the physician will provide specialized care to patients with various endocrine disorders. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The physician will be expected to see 14-17 patients per day, providing diagnoses, treatment, prescription refills, and completing patient inbox messaging. Additionally, the physician will work closely with staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.

 

Requirements:

 

• Board-certified/board-eligible Endocrinologist (MD/DO)
• Active Maryland medical license or IMLC in hand
• DEA certification
• ACLS & BLS certification
