What You’ll Do
As our Radiologic Technician/Medical Assistant you’ll be the insight to the needs of the patient via our basic in house imaging capabilities. Your imaging skill will help guide the care and outcomes of our patients, while your experience and skill as an Radiologic Technician/Medical Assistant will be a crucial part of our care team delivering patient focused care, where each individual is treated as a person rather than a number.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Saturday - (rotating weekends) 9a-1p
Essential Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and escort to exam room
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
- Log radiological procedures, process routine documentation in EMR and logs
- Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference)
- Provide information and assistance to patients
- Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked
- Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
- Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
- Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree, Graduation from a Radiology Technician Program
- Two years of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- ARRT Certification
- BMO or CRT license required
Preferred:
- Certified Medical Assistant or willingness to be cross trained for light Medical Assistant duties
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Understand CPT and ICD10 Codes
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR)
- Proficiency with blood draws and injections
- Experience working with digital imaging
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills
- Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member

Looking to direct hire for clinical positions in our clinics in Florida. We are employer funded health care centers, our employed physiciansproviders have set hours and no on call set up. Where our providers, pharmacists and clinical staff can focus on relationships and preventive medicine. Most of our centers are able to dispense commonly prescribed meds, have an onsite lab and in most cases imaging. We have two 340b pharmacies to offer medications to patient populations in rural areas. All aspects of office staffing and support are handled by our admin team to best meet the provider, pharmacist, patient and the client's (employer) needs.
