**Residency Director of Evidence Based Medicine - Emergency Medicine** **Located in Sayre** **Full Time and Permanent Position** We are seeking Core Faculty to join Guthrie's Emergency Medicine team as the Residency Director of Evidence Based Medicine. This role will emphasize a scholarly approach to patient care, systems-based practice, and population health. Highlights of the Opportunity: Leadership Role: As Director of Evidence Based Medicine, you will lead initiatives that foster scholarly activity projects with learners using evidence-based techniques. Evaluation and Mentorship: Evaluate residents and fellows through direct observation and competency-based milestone evaluations. Clinical Practice: Work clinically at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, and Guthrie Corning Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center. State-of-the-Art Facilities: Access to a brand new Emergency Department with modern amenities. Teaching Opportunities: Engage with residency programs and medical students. Compensation: Competitive Salary: Starting salary of $405,600, plus annual bonus incentives. Bonus Options: $100,000 starting bonus or $200,000 in loan repayment. Generous PTO: 280 hours of paid time off annually. Candidate Requirements: Commitment to improving health through clinical excellence and compassion. ABEM or AOBEM certification or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. 3 years of experience in an ACGME accredited program and 3 years of clinical experience preferred. Fellowship training in Research or a Masters/PhD in Public Health is ideal but not required.
