As a part of the post-acute care network, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to older adults in skilled nursing and short-term rehab facilities. This role offers unmatched flexibility, no primary night call, and a collaborative work environment with the potential for leadership opportunities - Part-time: 1-3 days per week (M-F) - On-call: 7am-7pm on days clinician is rounding - Schedule Flexibility: Customize your schedule to achieve the perfect work/life balance with no primary night call. - Competitive Compensation: Estimated salary range of $124,000 to $150,000 annually, with uncapped productivity income potential. - Unmatched Benefits: Sign-on bonus and relocation incentives available, along with part-time benefits such as license reimbursement, medical liability coverage, tail coverage, and wellness benefits. - Comprehensive Training: Receive a 40-day onboarding program with MIPS training, ongoing clinical education, and EMR support to ensure success in your role. - Leadership Opportunities: Access to growth opportunities into local and national leadership roles within the organization. - Supportive Infrastructure: Well-developed infrastructure with extensive back-office support to streamline your practice and enhance patient care. **Responsibilities** - Patient Care: Provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care to patients in multiple skilled nursing and rehab facilities in the El Paso area. - Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team (IDT), families, pharmacy, and patients to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. - Rounds & Follow-Up: Round on all patients as medically necessary, including acute, follow-up, and transitional care visits. - Quality Improvement: Participate in facility committees and practice group meetings to improve quality of care and patient outcomes. - Leadership & Physician Needs: Work closely with facility and regional leadership to assess and address physician needs in the area. - Documentation & Billing: Submit accurate and timely documentation, coding, and billing in line with established protocols. **Requirements** - Board Certification/Eligibility: Must be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM). - Passion for Geriatrics: A strong commitment to providing care to older adults, with an emphasis on quality of life and long-term health outcomes. - Desire to Lead: Interest in developing leadership skills, including opportunities for growth - Experience: Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is preferred.
