We are seeking a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. Under the supervision of a physician, this role involves taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, ordering tests, administering treatments, prescribing medications, assisting in surgery, and providing patient education.
The position requires working collaboratively with physicians in the hybrid OR.

Requirements:

Current NY State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Knowledge of current trends and techniques in neurosurgery.
Strong skills in health promotion and patient education.
