**Epileptologist Opening in Rapid City, SD** * We are looking for an Epileptologist to join a well-established outpatient group practice. * This is a busy hospital-employed position in a collegial group environment, with all major subspecialties represented. * Inpatient neurology needs are provided by a fully-staffed 24 hr neurohospitalist service. * Inpatient EEG wet reads are done by neurohospitalists, and on weekdays epileptologists make the final read and report. * Financial incentives for reading additional studies outside of normal work hours are available if desired. * Hours: Monday - Friday, no call * Full-time, permanent position Qualification: BE/BC in Neurology and Epilepsy, with fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology. With over 4,500 physicians and caregivers, Health Network is comprised of 5 hospitals, 8 specialty and surgical centers and more than 40 medical clinics and health care service centers in western South Dakota. The Neuroscience Center is located at the main campus, a busy tertiary care center that serves a 5-state region. It includes a busy regional sleep center, neurohospitalist service, neurointerventionalist service, and comprehensive outpatient neurology services. Epilepsy neurosurgical services and an EMU are anticipated starting in fall 2026, with plans to apply for Level III epilepsy center.
