Job Description

UT Health East Texas is seeking an energetic, compassionate, skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to assist our Vascular Surgeons as part of the prevention and ongoing treatment of vascular disease in the beautiful city of Tyler, TX. We welcome both experienced and graduating physician assistants who are passionate about clinical practice for cardiovascular patients.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Patient assessments, treatment plans and follow-up visits.
  • Ordering lab sets, drawing blood, and employ the use of noninvasive imaging. Evaluate test results and collaborate with supervising physician 
  • Assess and problem-solve following medical guidelines and protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience of common geriatric vascular disease, medical management and treatments
  • Serve as a knowledge resource and act as a role model in medical and nursing practices.
