Gastroenterology Coverage Needed in Ohio

We are seeking a skilled GI provider to cover both outpatient procedures and on-call services. This position is designed for someone who can commit to 3 weeks per month, combining two distinct roles for a dynamic and rewarding experience. They will also accept someone who can do one or the other.

Position Overview:

• Outpatient Coverage – 2 weeks per month (Monday to Friday) to perform outpatient procedures in the hospital's endoscopy suite. Patients will be seen by an APP in the office and placed on the procedural schedule. 10 days of outpatient coverage, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
• 24-Hour Call Coverage – 1 week per month (7 consecutive days) to provide 24-hour on-call coverage for any ED or inpatient needs, performing necessary procedures during this time. 7 days of call coverage, 24-hour call, with procedures primarily during regular business hours.

Key Highlights:

• The 24-hour call rate is all-inclusive – providing a great rate for the provider, with no additional billing for procedures during that time.
• Call Coverage: Low volume with a 30-minute response time to calls and 60 minutes on-site, if necessary.

Specific Duties Include:

• Performing screening and diagnostic colonoscopy, EGD, and food bolus removal.
• No ERCP or EUS procedures at this site.
• Providing excellent care for both emergency and routine GI procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
