We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead a highly skilled team in a busy and well-equipped emergency department. This is your chance to combine clinical expertise with visionary leadership in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Your Role as Facility Medical Director:**

* Provide both clinical and administrative leadership for emergency medicine services.
* Partner with the Assistant Medical Director to ensure collaborative and effective leadership.
* Oversee and mentor a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs).
* Develop and sustain relationships with physicians, hospital administration, and staff.
* Participate in key hospital meetings to shape clinical strategies and workflows.
* Collaborate with leadership to ensure the highest standards of care.

**About the Emergency Department:**

* 22-bed ED with an annual patient volume of 34,000.
* Diverse acuity levels and access to most backup specialties.
* Manageable pace of 1.9 patients per hour with a 12% admission rate.
* Supported by 34 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APC coverage.
* Advanced documentation with EPIC EMR.

**Qualifications:**

* Board certification in emergency medicine, or family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience
* Proven leadership experience, with at least 2 years in EM practice.
