Join a team of two, Core Faculty and the Program Director, as they continue to administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME key competency areas. You will participate in the development of resident didactics as well as provide presentations for the residents; mentor residents on their senior projects and participate in research projects; and journal club.
You will also participate in the recruitment of new residents into our program: reviewing candidate applications, contacting potential candidates, being involved in recruitment dinners, interviews, and other programs revolving around recruitment. The program maintains 16 residents each year. There is a full complement of support staff to assist with the operational needs of the training site. You will precept in a residency clinic along with maintaining your clinical skills to build and maintain your own personal practice of patients.
