* Practice Setting: Hospital-based Gastroenterology
* Reason for Coverage: Physician shortage
* Call Ratio: 24-hour coverage
* Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital-Based Gastroenterology
* Trauma Level: II
* Average Patients Per Day: 16 (6 consults)
* Number of Physicians in Group: 4
* EMR System: Epic
* Onsite Services: Lab, X-Ray

**Required Procedures:**

* Colonoscopy
* Liver Biopsy
* Esophageal Procedures:
* Dilatation/Manometry
* Manometry Interpretation
* Lower GI Endoscopy:
* Sigmoidoscopy
* Upper GI Endoscopy (Required Types):
* With biopsy
* With foreign body removal
* With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
* With injection of varices
* With banding of varices
* With ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
* With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
* Diagnostic & Therapeutic

**Requirements:**

* Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Required
* Active South Carolina License - Required (No exceptions)
* 100% clean background - Highly preferred (may consider minor past malpractice cases)
* No new grads - Must have strong experience, ratings, and training
* ERCP - Preferred but not required

**Additional Information:**

* On-Call: Yes (24-hour coverage)
* Weekend Coverage: Yes
* Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
