Location: Hartford, CT
Full Time
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our outpatient PREPARE Center team, specializing in preoperative optimization and patient education for orthopedic and spine surgery. This role involves collaborating with surgeons and medical teams to assess and prepare patients for surgery.
Schedule: Full-time (Four 10-hour days, 7 AM 5:30 PM)
**Responsibilities:**
Review patient medical history and perform H&Ps
Interpret lab results, EKGs, and anesthesia risk assessments
Order and interpret additional tests as needed
Educate patients and families on anesthesia and surgical preparation
Communicate with surgeons, specialists, and primary care providers
