POSITION SUMMARY:

The Outpatient Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients from birth through adolescence in an outpatient clinic setting. The physician will focus on preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic condition management, ensuring a high standard of care and promoting overall child health and well-being.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Outpatient clinical role no inpatient responsibilities
Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with 0.5-day admin time per week)
36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all providers on a 1:6 rotation

PATIENT VOLUME & VISIT TYPES:

Average Patient Volume: 18-25 patients per day
Patient Census: Pediatric patients from birth through adolescence
Visit Types: Sick visits, well-child visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, immunizations, sports physicals, school health evaluations, etc.
Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include routine immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, minor dermatologic procedures, and health screenings
