**NP Primary Care opening in OK**
**Located in Stillwater, 60m to Tulsa**
**Part Time**
Job Summary:
Provides primary healthcare in collaboration with physicians, managing selected cases according to established protocols. Maintains case histories, medical reports, and other records, and prepares treatment plans. Orders diagnostic procedures such as x-rays, writes prescriptions according to protocols, and refers patients for acute and chronic care. Provides patient education, conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools, and performs laboratory tests as necessary.
Qualifications:
Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision.
Graduation from an accredited school for Nurse Practitioners.
Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred.
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Licensed under the supervision of an Active Staff physician.
Physically and mentally able to perform job duties.
Maintains malpractice coverage as defined by the Board of Trustees.
Current CPR certification or completion of CPR course within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements:
Adequate perception of sounds or hearing with correction.
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, for preparing reports and reading written materials.
Ability to distinguish colors and discriminate minute details.
Ability to communicate (written and oral) in English.
Adequate vision for evaluating patients.
Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
Must have fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to administer medications and handle instruments.
Ability to work in a latex-burdened environment.
