**Located in Jonesboro, 70m to Memphis**
**Full Time and Permanent Position**

We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join our growing Pediatric Hospitalist Team at a 438-bed medical center serving 23 counties in North East Arkansas. The facility includes 18 pediatric beds and a 19-bed NICU, certified as Level IIIA, with 40-50 pediatric patients admitted per month. The team is supported by a daytime nurse practitioner for newborns, a dedicated lactation team, and family medicine residents for pediatric patients.

Care Responsibilities Include:
Providing inpatient care to hospitalized pediatric patients and newborns.
Providing backup and consultative services to a family medicine residency program with pediatric and newborn consults as needed.
Offering consultative services to local community hospitals, emergency rooms (ERs), and clinics.
Leading in areas of safety and quality improvement.
Teaching and participating in academic responsibilities, including mentoring residents and medical students.
Assisting ED physicians with admitting patients and managing other emergencies when in-house.

Pediatric Hospitalist Hours:
12-hour shifts with calls from home (216 shifts per year).
