Job Description

Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), a Level 1 trauma center in Central Florida, is seeking a Neuro Hospitalist to join our team at the Neuroscience Institute. This full-time position offers a 7 days on/7 days off schedule with 12-hour day shifts (7 AM-7 PM). The role involves consulting on inpatient cases, primarily IMG and trauma neurosurgery patients. You'll join a collaborative group of 7 neurologists supported by an APP and administrative staff.

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.D., D.O.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Unrestricted FL Medical License (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA

Practice Highlights

Collaborate with world-class specialists across departments including Neurointerventional Surgery, Neurocritical Care, and multiple divisions throughout the institution. Treat diverse patients with a complex case mix comparable to major East Coast academic centers.

  • Provide comprehensive coverage for the stroke unit and manage acute stroke cases in the Emergency Department across our system and for inpatients
  • Access to ORMC's dedicated facilities: 16 Neurocritical Care beds, 16 Neuroscience Stepdown Unit beds, 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit beds, and 32 Neuroscience medical beds
