We are currently seeking a Full-Time Diagnostic Radiologist for our Diagnostic Imaging Department.
SALARY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
Core Responsibilities:
The Diagnostic Radiologist will be responsible for performing and interpreting radiologic studies across a wide range of clinical specialties. The core procedures and activities include:
Interpretation of radiologic studies performed on inpatients, outpatients, and emergency care patients.
Interpretation of CT, diagnostic nuclear medicine, fluoroscopic, and radiographic studies of the head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and associated vasculature.
Interpretation of MRI studies of the head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, associated vasculature, and central nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
Interpretation of ultrasound studies of the head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, extremities, associated vasculature, and pelvis, including gynecologic or obstetric indications.
Interpretation of bone absorptiometry, cystography, mammography, and pyelography studies.
Performing minimally invasive procedures such as aspiration, biopsy, drainage, and injection under fluoroscopic or ultrasonographic guidance.
Use of fluoroscopy during procedures.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
Successful completion of a diagnostic radiology residency accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association.
Current certification or eligibility for certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
Current licensure to practice medicine in Oregon.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Demonstrated competence and adequate experience to provide medical services at professionally acceptable quality and efficiency standards. If requesting mammography interpretation privileges, the applicant must meet the qualifications set by the American College of Radiology.
