Job Summary: As a Per Diem Hospitalist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. You will work closely with medical staff, hospital departments, patients, and their families to ensure efficient and comprehensive treatment in a supportive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care, managing a variety of medical conditions.
Collaborate with hospital departments and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
Accurately document patient care activities in medical records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, including EMTALA.
Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and core measures compliance.
Accurately code and document services to reflect the level of care provided.
Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and work towards enhancing patient experiences.
Adhere to the hospital's mission, vision, and values, acting as an ambassador within and outside the hospital.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Required: Successful completion of an accredited medical school program.
Current medical license in the state of New Hampshire and an active DEA number/certification.
Preferred: Previous experience in an acute care or function-specific setting.
Licenses & Certifications:
Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
