**Located in Kankakee, 60m to Chicago**
**Part Time Employment**
We are seeking a dedicated Physician to join a well-established medical group committed to delivering exceptional healthcare. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team of primary care and specialty providers focused on remarkable patient experiences.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Valid state medical license (or ability to obtain)
Valid controlled substances license (or ability to obtain)
Board eligible or board certified
Responsibilities:
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical histories and examination results.
Manage and treat patients within the scope of practice.
Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical conditions.
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
Monitor patient conditions and progress, reevaluating treatments as necessary.
Provide reliable, high-value, evidence-based medicine supported by education and research.
Utilize electronic medical records to track patient visits and information.
Perform Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding for physicians.
Work a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours of direct patient care.
Participate in on-call duties during the week and on weekends as needed.
