Emergency Medicine Coverage in Pennsylvania

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic emergency department team in Pennsylvania. This role offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work across two locations.

Job Details:

• Position: Part-Time Emergency Medicine Physician
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM); occasional mid-level shift coverage as needed
• Average Annual Volume: 18,000 patients (~51 per day)
• Privileges Available: Full Privileges
• EMR: Cerner
• Travel & Lodging Covered (Mileage, lodging, parking, rental car, and ground transportation)

Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Medicine
• State License: Must have a Pennsylvania medical license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS, Stroke Certified
• DEA License: Required

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Perform emergency procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, laceration repairs, and other critical care interventions
• Work alongside an APP and sign off on APPs as needed
• Coordinate admissions through Hospitalist and Specialty Groups
• No vent management required
