Exciting Gastroenterology Opportunity in Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity providing 24-hour call coverage and inpatient rounding. This high-priority role involves consulting on inpatients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to ED emergencies.

• Daily Inpatient Rounding: Conduct new consults and follow-up visits.
• Procedures: Perform endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and percutaneous gastrostomy.
• Emergency Response: Address UGIB, LGIB, food impaction, dysphagia, abdominal pain, chronic diarrhea, pancreatitis, etc.
• On-Call Coverage: Provide 24/7 availability, including ED emergency response (no direct GI admissions).

• Schedule: 14 shifts per month; 24-hour call coverage.
• EMR System: Sunrise.
• Privileges: Full, temporary, and emergency privileges available.
• No APP/Mid-Level coverage available.

• Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• ACLS & BLS Certification Required.
• Active Pennsylvania License Preferred 
• DEA License Required.
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
