TeamHealth is seeking an experienced and dynamic facility medical director to lead our hospital medicine (HM) program at Memorial Regional Hospital, the flagship facility of Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL. This is a high-profile, high-impact leadership role offering an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize hospitalist operations at one of the largest hospitals in Florida.

As facility medical director, you will:

• Lead and oversee a team of 50+ hospitalist physicians and advanced practice clinicians in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Drive performance, efficiency, and quality outcomes in collaboration with hospital administration and system leadership
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care, provider engagement, and operational effectiveness
• Monitor key performance metrics, ensuring excellence in clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and physician retention
• Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth, while mentoring hospitalist providers
• Represent TeamHealth at hospital meetings, serving as the key liaison for hospital medicine
• Optional clinical shifts available for those who wish to maintain hands-on patient care

Qualifications

• Board-certified in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)
• Proven leadership experience in a hospitalist program
• Active Florida medical license and DEA (or ability to obtain before start)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with hospital leadership and medical staff
