**Position Overview**
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join our team and provide clinical treatment for patients in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. The physician will be responsible for managing hospitalized patients, coordinating follow-up care, and ensuring comprehensive treatment throughout the patient s hospital stay.

**Compensation & Schedule**
Pay Range: $287,500/year
Schedule: 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM 6:00 PM), seven days on, seven days off
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional medical services to hospitalized patients and arrange for necessary follow-up care upon discharge.
Conduct daily rounds on all assigned patients.
Complete history and physical examinations within 12 hours of patient assignment, with documentation within 24 hours.
Ensure timely admission notes for patients admitted through the Nocturnal Hospitalists Program.
Manage medical crises or changes in a patient s condition if the attending physician is unavailable, consulting with them as needed.

**Qualifications**
Current and valid license to practice medicine in New York.
Active and unrestricted federal and state registrations to prescribe and dispense controlled substances.
Must obtain active Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges.
Completion of Medical Staff credentialing at the time of hire.
