Opportunity Overview:
Schedule: 7a 7p or 7p 7a
Weekend night call desired (Fridays 5p 7a)
Call type: Beeper 30-minute response time
Coverage: Inpatient only
Support: 4 full-time inpatient APPs, 1 APP assigned per weekend when fully staffed
Orientation: 1 2 days (includes EHR training and site walk-through with team)

Required Skills:
Upper GI endoscopy: biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, variceal injection
Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy (flexible)
Colonoscopy: with biopsy and excision of polyps

Preferred:
PEG placement

Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology Required
Active IN license or IMLC Required
ACLS & BLS Required
Must supervise APPs
