Job Overview:
A healthcare facility in Dayton, OH, is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a part-time locum tenens position. This opportunity requires one week (7 days) per month for at least 4 months, with potential for extension.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7 shifts per month
- On-Call: Yes (In-House & Telephone)
- Solo Coverage: Yes
- EMR: EPIC
- Privileges Available: Temporary
- Support Staff: RN triage service for patient calls
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Infectious Disease (MD/DO)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Licensure: Active Ohio medical license required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- DEA Required: Yes
Responsibilities:
- Manage new consults and follow up on inpatients
- Respond to patient calls from the emergency department and admitted patients
- Work with RN triage service for established patient calls
