Seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for locum tenens. The ideal provider has open availability, a stable work history, and is ready to contribute to a collaborative, high-functioning care team. This is a hospital-based role with a mix of surgical cases, endoscopy, and acute pain management.

**Shift & Schedule**

* Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
* On-Call/Weekend: None
* Start Date: ASAP, once credentialed (~1 month)

**Practice Details**

* Setting: Hospital-based (Level 3 Trauma Center)
* Care Model: Supervision of CRNAs in a 1:3 ratio
* Average Cases per Day:
* 5 7 OT surgical cases
* 15 25 Endoscopy cases
* Number of ORs: 9 Main ORs, 5 Endo suites
* Anesthesia Cart Setup: Not required
* OR Team Culture: Collaborative
* Patient Age Range: 12 years to geriatric

**Required Procedures**

* General surgical cases (adult)
* Minor nerve blocks
* IV regional anesthesia
* Thoracic cases (except open heart)
* Complex orthopedic cases
* Complex vascular cases (except open heart)
* Spinal anesthesia
* Epidural anesthesia
* Regional anesthesia
* Neurosurgical cases
* Arterial line insertion
* Evaluation/management of acute volume and BP issues
* Acute pain management (no chronic pain procedures)

**Credentials & Requirements**

* Board Certification (ABA): Required
* Massachusetts State Medical License: Required
* ACLS & BLS Certification: Required
* Availability: Open availability preferred
* Work History: Preference for providers with longevity in prior assignments
