Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital, located in Murphy, NC is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving a seven-county region in western North Carolina, North Georgia, and East Tennessee. The recent transition makes it the sixth hospital in the Erlanger Health System and the system’s first hospital in North Carolina. The 14-bed emergency department see approximately 17,000 patients annually. Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital’s team is comprised of board-certified physicians, APCs and support care providers 24/7. The department has additional medical support on location within walking distance of the main campus, as well as access to a laboratory and radiology department.
