**Pediatrician needed in WA**
**Located in Othello, 2hrs to Spokane**
**Full Time and Permanent Position**

Primary Accountability:

Pediatricians are responsible for diagnosing and treating infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. They promote wellness, educate on illness prevention, and conduct physical examinations and developmental assessments. The Pediatrician will also perform hospital-based duties necessary for the care of clinic patients.

Responsibilities
Specific Duties:

Provide primary, acute, and chronic patient care, including emergency services, in community health centers and hospitals.
Develop and maintain rapport with patients, ensuring equal treatment regardless of race, creed, color, sex, or socioeconomic status.
Commit to agreed-upon clinic hours, remaining flexible to accommodate hospital duties, educational activities, and patient needs.
Maintain active hospital privileges.
Provide call coverage and inpatient care during various times, coordinated with facility schedules.
Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all clinical activities in accordance with medical record protocols.
Meet continuing medical education requirements and communicate preferences to the Medical Director.
Participate in the organization's Quality Assurance Peer Review Program.
Attend staff conferences and medical meetings.
Consult with other healthcare providers and administrative personnel on various matters, including policy and program planning.
Address Board-related inquiries with the Chief Medical Officer.
Devote full attention to the practice and required administrative duties.
Refrain from competing activities without express written consent from the organization.
Promote a positive work culture and adhere to clinic policies, including behavioral standards.
Uphold confidentiality regarding all organizational activities and patient information.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Professional and Technical Knowledge:

Graduate of an accredited Medical School.
Completion of an accredited post-doctoral residency program in Pediatrics.
Maintain authoritative knowledge in sound medical practices.
Familiarity with administrative practices and regulatory authorities governing medical practice.
Awareness of the unique needs of underserved populations.
At least one year of internship experience.

Qualifications
License and Certification:
Licensed to practice Medicine in Washington State.
Certification by the American Academy of Pediatrics (preferred).

Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Competent in using Electronic Medical Record software.

Communication Skills:
Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, and talk frequently.
Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Close and distance vision capabilities.

Travel:
Frequent travel to various clinic sites required.
Valid driver s license and compliance with insurance liability standards necessary.
