Job Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is currently seeking a clinical neuropsychologist. Candidates should have comprehensive expertise in neuropsychological test administration and interpretation across a wide range of neurological disorders. including, but not limited to, epilepsy, movement disorders, autoimmune disorders, functional neurological symptom disorders, and other neurodegenerative conditions. There are also opportunities for behavioral intervention, if desired. While this is a primary clinical position exciting research and educational opportunities are accessible. 

 

Qualified candidates must be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania and are required to have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program), have completed a two-year neuropsychology fellowship (adhering to Houston Conference Guidelines), and be board-eligible or board certified in neuropsychology. Candidates with strong clinical experience with neurologically complex populations (ages 18+) are encouraged to apply.

About The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh & UPMC

  • The Department of Neurology has been a national leader in neurologic research, care, and training. The clinical neuropsychologist will have opportunities to work and train neurology residents and fellows, as well as neuropsychology students who are involved in clinical rotations.
  • The Department is comprised of 12 divisions including cerebrovascular medicine, cognitive disorders, community network neurology, comprehensive neurology, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, neurocritical care, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disease, neuro-oncology, and women’s neurology.
