**Locums Vascular Surgery - Richmond, VA**
**Coverage Need**
- Assignment dates: As soon as credentialed (~June 2025) - ongoing through 2025
- 2 - 4 call nights per week
- Call includes weekends
**Position Details**
- Specialty: Vascular Surgery
- Provider type: Physician
- Practice setting: Hospital coverage
- Call type: Night and weekend call
- Admissions required: Yes
- EMR system: Epic
- Operating rooms: 6 main ORs, 2 CVT ORs, 1 hybrid room with 2 cath labs
- Support staff: Office staff, 3 PSRs, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 CMAs, 1 LPN, 1 vascular tech, 2 part-time MDs, practice manager
- Temporary privileges available
**Submissions Requirements**
- Board certified in Vascular Surgery
- Licensed in VA
- Clean history
- ACLS and BLS required
- DEA - verbal confirmation required at name clear
**Skill Requirements**
- Aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal)
- Arterial bypass, peripheral
- Vascular access devices
- AV shunt
- Endovascular and open surgical reconstruction for deep vein occlusions
- Carotid artery stenting
- Femoral popliteal bypass
- Aortofemoral bypass
- Stenting
- Endovenous laser therapy
- Treatment of vascular malformations, median arcuate ligament, nutcracker syndromes
- Endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease and gangrene of limbs
