Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks an OBGYN Hospitalist to join its practice at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. 

  • St. Joseph's Women's Hospital is widely regarded as "the place in Tampa to have a baby" because of their comfortable labor and delivery suites, extensive childbirth education programs, Level-IV NICU and maternal/fetal program that offers the security expectant mothers need
  • Responsibilities will include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
  • Over 8000 deliveries annually at the hospital, 900 delivered by the hospitalist team
  • 4,200 annual OBED visits per year
  • Team of 9 OBGYNs and 7 CNM/WHNPs
  • 24 hour shifts with double physician coverage, schedule of minimum 6-8 shifts per month
  • Supported by a Level-IV NICU with our affiliated practice of board certified neonatologists available 24 hours a day
