Emergency Medicine Assistant Medical Director in Carmel, NY

This 21,500 volume emergency department offers 24 hours of physician coverage and advanced practice clinician coverage daily.

The associate medical director of the emergency department (ED) will play a pivotal leadership role in enhancing the quality of patient care, optimizing operational performance, and collaborating with EMS and nursing staff to improve patient outcomes.

This position will involve overseeing quality initiatives, managing medical student rotations, and fulfilling the responsibilities of director of emergency medical services (EMS) for the county. The associate medical director will also assist in resolving administrative concerns, as well as assisting the facility medical director (FMD) in key strategic areas, including quality improvement and educational initiatives.
