Hospitalist opportunity in Southwest Georgia. Join a robust 155 bed community based teaching hospital. The schedule is7 on/7 off but flexible. Offering a competitive hourly rate and extra hourly pay for any hour worked over 1870 hours per month. This is an excellent opportunity to precept medical students and residents. 15 12-hr shifts per month; typical schedule is 7 days on/7 days off but can be flexible.  Average patient load = 15-20 per day with NP support.  10-bed open ICU; physicians' lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access employee fitness center.  Procedures not required.  Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience; extra hourly pay for night shift (7P-7A) and extra hourly pay for any hour worked over 180 hours/month.  Hourly quality bonus, dependent upon and scaled by measures met.  State-of-the-art Medical Education Center with simulation labs.  Generous student loan repayment assistance if needed.  Residents/fellows who make an early commitment receive a monthly stipend through the duration of their training or may choose a sign-on bonus.  Paid house hunting and relocation.
