**Locums Orthopedic Surgery APP - Rockport, ME**
**Coverage Need**
- Start August 2025
- 6 to 12-month assignment, with option to extend
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Office/OR hours
- Call schedule: 1:4 rotation, first call backed by a physician
**Position Details**
- Provider type: PA or NP (PA strongly preferred)
- Practice setting: Ambulatory and Inpatient
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinic hours + call
- Admissions required: Yes
- EMR experience required
- Expected office volume: 60 patients per week
- Expected hospital volume: 3-7 patients per week
- Practice type: Single specialty
- Clinic staffing: 3 surgeons, 3 APPs, 6 MAs, 3 PSRs, 2 Rad Techs, 1 Triage RN
- Practice culture: Fast-paced, patient-centered care, team-oriented
- Lodging cap: $200/night after taxes and fees
**Submissions Requirements**
- Board certified: Yes
- Licensed in ME or IMLC: Strongly preferred
- Clean history
- Must be a currently practicing provider
- Full-time availability preferred
- EMR experience: Required
**Skill Requirements**
- Orthopedic clinic and surgical assist experience
- Inpatient and ambulatory orthopedic care
- First assist in the OR
