Job Description

**APP Occupational Medicine Opening in Wilmington, MA**
Boston 16m

You'll work alongside a dedicated team of clinical professionals, helping to improve the health and productivity of working adults, while being supported with industry-leading training, resources, and leadership development.

* Full-time
* Monday - Friday (8a-5p)
* No call, nights, or weekends

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct thorough patient evaluations, compile medical data, and interpret examination results.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, labs) and recognize deviations from normal.
* Perform a range of procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
* Provide counseling on therapeutic regimens and preventive healthcare.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans.
* Document all care, testing, and patient interactions clearly and accurately.
* Provide excellent customer service and patient-centered care, maintaining professionalism and compassion even in high-volume settings.
* Collaborate on developing and revising clinical policies and health education programs.
* Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards.
* Stay flexible with scheduling and adapt to changing business needs, including varied shifts when required.
* Seek continued clinical education and personal development opportunities to maintain best practices.
* Communicate effectively and uphold service values in all interactions with patients, peers, and clients.

**Qualifications:**

* Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited PA program
* Board Certification (PANCE passed)
* Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania, with ability to maintain licensure
* DEA Registration (required prior to start)
* FMCSA NRCME certification (provided if not yet obtained)
* Minimum one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, sports medicine, or emergency medicine preferred

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
* Knowledge of occupational health, workers' compensation regulations, and clinical procedures
* Familiarity with state-specific rehabilitation and occupational health laws
* Competency in multitasking, prioritization, and time management in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to participate in CME and continue professional development
