**APP Occupational Medicine opening in Sacramento, CA**
Join a collaborative, patient-focused team providing high-quality occupational medicine, with ongoing training and opportunities for growth.
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday (8a-5p)
- No call, no nights, no weekends
**Responsibilities:**
- Examines patients, compiles medical data, and assesses examination results
- Administers or orders diagnostic tests such as x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory work
- Compiles health history and physical exam results into comprehensive records
- Interprets diagnostic test outcomes and identifies deviations from normal
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Provides patient counseling on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and preventative health
- Develops and implements treatment plans, documents progress, and ensures continuity of care
- Assists in developing, implementing, and revising medical practice policies and education programs
- Delivers excellent customer service while incorporating Orange Book values
- Strives to exceed patient expectations measured by NPER/NPS/TATs
- Maintains documentation that is accurate, concise, timely, and complete
- Ensures a warm and compassionate experience for all patients, regardless of volume
- Manages time effectively in a busy clinical setting
- Adapts to changing business needs, including flexible scheduling or shift changes when necessary
- Supports team operations to maintain a seamless patient experience
- Pursues self-development and additional clinical training opportunities

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited institution
- Licensure in the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certification required
- FMCSA NRCME certification (must be obtained before start; CME provided if needed)
- DEA license required prior to start
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but training is available for strong candidates
**Job-Related Experience:**
- At least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting preferred
- Procedural proficiency (e.g., suturing, laceration repairs, foreign body removal) preferred

**Compensation and Benefits:**
- Compensation: $139,000.00 - $172,000.00
