A leading medical education institution in southwest Michigan is seeking two full-time Family Medicine Faculty physicians to join its growing Department of Family and Community Medicine. These roles are ideal for physicians who are passionate about teaching, community care, and shaping the next generation of family medicine physicians.

One position is located in Battle Creek (OB optional)

One position is based in Kalamazoo with OB responsibilities

**Position Highlights:**
Outpatient care and supervision of residents

Participation in inpatient and newborn services (OB required in Kalamazoo)

Teaching and mentoring residents and medical students

Opportunity to lead and participate in innovative programs such as:

Lifestyle Medicine

Point-of-care Ultrasound (POCUS)

MSK Ultrasound

Hospital Medicine

Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)

Hepatitis C and dermatologic care

Street Medicine

Gender Affirming Care

Palliative and Sports Medicine fellowships

New Substance Use Disorders clinic (opening 2024)

Academic leadership and committee participation available

Eligibility for $10,000 research seed grants

CME funding, generous vacation time, defined pension plan, and 457b plan for full-time faculty

**Qualifications:**
MD or DO degree

Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency

Board certified or board eligible by the ABFM or AOBFP

Eligible for licensure in Michigan

Strong commitment to teaching and collaborative care

Enthusiastic, team-oriented mindset with a passion for underserved and diverse communities

**Practice Environment:**
Battle Creek clinic is located in a modern Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), supported by a vibrant and diverse community

Kalamazoo-based residency features a new, spacious clinic and strong departmental presence
