**Medical Director opening in Columbus, OH**
Full-time
No nights, No weekends, No call
As a Center Medical Director, you will lead by example in a 100% center-based role, providing direct patient care, mentoring clinicians, and driving exceptional clinical performance and patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on patient care while serving as a role model for clinical excellence and professional leadership.
- Assume CMD responsibilities, including coverage for open positions as needed.
- Partner with the Director of Medical Operations (DMO) to enhance workflows, quality, safety, and overall center performance.
- Mentor and support new and existing clinicians, helping to cultivate the next generation of clinical leaders.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Understand and utilize center financial drivers and tools to meet strategic goals.
- Support staffing needs and assist with clinician scheduling in collaboration with DMO and EA.
- May be required to observe drug and alcohol testing of patients.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Physiatry (ABMS or AOA).
- Current unrestricted medical license in the State of Ohio.
- DEA license (unrestricted) for Ohio.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- DOT FMCSA certification (or willing to obtain during credentialing).
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of clinical and supervisory experience.
- Experience in managed care, medical leadership, or quality improvement initiatives.

- Ability to lead and coach clinical staff effectively.
