Established private practice group is looking for a full time Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join their team in Hermitage, Tennessee at TriStar Summit Medical Center.

  • TriStar Summit Medical Center is a 220-bed comprehensive facility offering a full array of acute care services, including cardiology, emergency, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services
  • Serves the community with over 60,000 annual ER visits
  • TriStar Summit has served Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties for over 25 years with more than 35 medical specialties represented.
  • Middle Tennessee Pulmonary Associates is physician owned and operated
  • Mix of inpatient is 70% and 30% outpatient
  • EBUS & Navigational Bronchoscopy skills welcome but not required
  • Schedule Model: 7on 7 off in the hospital and 1 week of outpatient clinic per month and 1 week off.
  • Join the existing group of 3 FT MDs and 2 FT APP
  • APP on 7a - 7p and 7p-7a
  • Sleep Lab available
  • 40 ICU Beds
  • MOB conveniently located on facility campus
  • Office Call shared, 1:7, low burden
  • In House APPs, employed by Group to cover ICU 7p-7a
  • 3 nights of call on ICU week, just to back up for APP

This network is the area's most comprehensive cancer program, offering the latest in research-based treatment with multiple locations in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. Cancer services at Summit currently include surgery, radiation oncology and medical oncology.  Summit's Radiation Therapy Services department has invested $5.1 million in IMRT, which enables precise targeting of cancerous tumors with radiation.
