Hospital call coverage only
Ongoing schedule: Every 4th weekend
o Feb 21 23 (off at 7am on 24th)
o Mar 21 23 (off at 7am on 24th)
o Apr 18 20 (off at 7am on 21st)
o May 23 25 (off at 7am on 26th)
o Continues monthly
Call type: Beeper
Response time: 15 minutes
Call ratio: 1:4
Call back rate: 25%
Phone consults: ~5 per shift
Patients seen: 3 5
Admissions: ~4
Practice setting: Inpatient only
EMR: MediTech
Support staff provided: 2 RNs, 1 MA
Lodging: Onsite call room or local hotel (ask for Lifepoint corporate rate)

Requirements:
NC medical license (no exceptions)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Clean background for expedited credentialing (15-day timeframe)
Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, Laser Certification
Must be proficient in:
o High- and low-risk pregnancy care
o Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
o OB ultrasound (Level I & II)
o Amniocentesis
o Routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions)
o Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
o Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)
