**Coverage Need**
- Start date: June 1, 2025
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- 1 week per month coverage July - December, with potential for additional dates
- Weekend call: 24-hour beeper call
- Weekday call: Shared with employed providers
**Position Details**
- Practice setting: Outpatient only
- Admissions required: No
- Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
- Patients per shift: Up to 17
- Call response time: 20 minutes
- Call ratio: 1:2
- EMR: Mosaiq
- Stroke-certified hospital
- Temporary privileges: Not available
- Support: 1 MA, multiple RNs; Pharmacy handles chemo education
- Oncology and radiation under one roof
- Nearest airport: El Paso
**Submissions Requirements**
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- BLS
- Clean malpractice and background - Strongly preferred
**Skill Requirements**
- General outpatient Hematology/Oncology patient care
- Comfortable with patient calls, chemo-day queries, and occasional ED consults (minimal)
