Job Description
Locums - A large health system has a Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA role available in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- 12 hour shifts
- Available ASAP for 3-6 months
- Floor support needed: patient rounding, entering orders, assist with managing fresh post-op in the ICU, pull chest tubes, pacers, etc.
- Approx. 2-3 cases per day
- Adults 25 +
- Previous CT surgery experience required
- EMR used is EPIC and Cupid
- Active FL license, ACLS and BLS
- Local candidates preferred but open to travelers if the right fit
- Competitive hourly rate, mileage and malpractice reimbursed
